How long have you lived in your community?
My family took our first vacation to Creede in 1976, and we returned every summer for decades. Seven years ago, when my husband retired from the Air Force and began a new career, we made Creede our forever home.

What are some other roles you’ve served in your community?
I’ve previously served as the Business/Finance Manager for the Creede School District and as Development Director for Creede Repertory Theatre. I’ve also been a member of the Creede Community Church Board.

Short description of what you do at STPHD:
I have the privilege of supporting local businesses in providing safe retail food services to our communities through inspections, plan reviews, guidance, and resources.

What are you most grateful for in your role at STPHD?
Our local retail food operators are incredible people who work hard to offer the best to their customers, and it’s a joy to partner with them. I’m also privileged to work alongside an absolute dream team here at STPHD. I’m continually amazed by what this staff and our volunteers accomplish, and by the heart they put into everything they do.

Fun fact that may surprise people:
I’m a PADI-certified SCUBA diver! Just like our mountains, the ocean holds awe-inspiring beauty—and I wish everyone had the chance to experience it.
