How long have you lived in your community?
I’ve lived in Lake City since August 2024.

What other roles have you served in your community?
I volunteer at many Lake City events throughout the year and help out at the school when I can.

Short description of what you do at STPHD:
At Silver Thread Public Health District, I wear two hats. As the Senior Resource Coordinator, I’m the main point of contact for the Lake City Senior Center. I connect older adults with the resources and support they need to stay safe, independent, and thriving at home. I also plan fun and meaningful activities to help seniors stay active and socially connected.

In my second role, I support the State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP). I collaborate with healthcare providers, local organizations, and community partners to promote tobacco-free policies and programs. You’ll often see me at community events or meetings, sharing resources and advocating for a healthier, smoke- and vape-free future.

What are you most grateful for in your role at STPHD?
I’m incredibly grateful for our team. We’re a small group with big hearts, and we truly support one another. It’s been rewarding to watch the senior program grow, and I love working alongside our community to help it thrive. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful.
