Covid Exposure @ Quilt Show
Dear Silver Thread Quilt Guild and Attendees of the 2021 Quilt Show
If you were present at the 2021 Quilt Show hosted in Creede on Saturday, September 18, 2021, there is a chance you were exposed to a COVID-positive individual.
If you are fully vaccinated for COVID (you have had both doses of Pfizer or Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson/ Johnson and it has been 2 weeks since your final dose) you do not have to quarantine unless you become symptomatic.
If you are not fully vaccinated, we are requesting that you quarantine through Saturday, October 2. Please avoid all indoor public areas such as the post office, grocery stores, and restaurants, and do not have friends or family in your house that do not live with you. If you must interact with someone who is not a part of your immediate household, please wear a face mask and keep a social distance of 6 feet.
Public Health recommends testing for all individuals exposed to COVID, 7 days after exposure. We will be offering COVID rapid testing the week of Monday, September 27th, please call 719-658-2416 for an appointment or any questions.
Please monitor your health for symptoms of COVID including cough, nasal/chest congestion, low-grade fever, headache, body aches and chills, loss of taste or smell, and difficulty breathing. If you become symptomatic and require medical assistance, please dial 911. If you become symptomatic and do NOT need medical assistance, please call Public Health immediately at 719-658-2416 to schedule a COVID rapid testing appointment.
Thank you,
